A ton of people have been asking for a make-up tutorial, so here it is! I’m not very good at making them, at least I don’t think am, so cut me some slack if this video sucks! I promised I would make another video of a more full glam/smokey look, so look out for that in the near future. Hope you guys enjoy this video & maybe learn about some new products or different techniques. Xo
Hey guys! I was going to post this earlier, but so many people wanted a GRWM video, so I did that one first. Join me as I test drive a Smart Drive, run a few errands and meet my family! Hope you enjoy it, if you do please like & comment 🙂
As always, thank you to each and every one of you for all the love and support you show!
I’ve wanted to do a Q&A for a while, so that fact that you guys wanted it just as much made it a no-brainer. I know it’s a little long, but I wanted to make sure I answered all of your questions! I hope you guys enjoy the video- if a Part II video appeals to you, send in more questions and I will make a second Q&A video!
Thank you to everyone who sent in questions 🙂
I wanted to try something a little different today. I love watching vlogs on YouTube, and I recently bought a camera that’s great for vlogging. So, I wanted to make one and see how you guys like it. This was just a random Sunday (and part of Monday morning) in my life. If this is something you’d like to see more of let me know in the comments!
This was by far my favorite video request! I had never really given much thought about how someone should approach a woman in a chair, but it’s an extremely great topic that many people will get advice from. Approaching somebody in a chair is much different and it’s never really talked about, so I figured I’d educate some of you men (or women) out there! So without further ado, here is my video on how to approach women in chairs!
The other day I had an appointment to see my pain doctor for injections. I thought recording it and making a blog out of it would be beneficial for others trying to manage their pain or find an alternative to pain killers. The type of pain I experience is muscle pain in my neck and shoulders. Without the injections, it feels like I’m being stabbed in the neck/shoulders with a knife. I’m constantly rubbing my neck and shoulders, especially with the cold weather that’s starting to roll in, which makes it worse.
I’ve been getting injections for about 3 years now. For the first couple years I was getting epidural steroid injections. These were outstandingly painful. The needle is huge and it stays in your neck for a while, as the doctor wiggles it around in your sore muscle and has you tell him where it “hurts the most”. With the injections I get now, the needle is much smaller and the procedure is super quick and almost pain free, as you will see.
When I switched pain doctors, my new doctor told me about all the long-term effects the steroids could have on my body. There were some pretty serious side effects that I was not willing to take a chance with. Spinal cord injury was actually on the list, which I found comical. He said that just getting injections of local anesthetic would be much more fitting of a procedure for my type of pain and safer in general, short and long-term wise.
After getting the injections my muscles were slightly sore. Then the following day my muscles felt bruised, but by the third day they were completely pain free! It should be at least three months until I need to go back for more injections. So far, I have nothing but good things to say because my pain is almost completely gone, aside from some pins and needle feeling when I’m straining my neck and shoulders. This is something I will bring up to my doctor at our follow-up in 3 weeks.
Transferring is a huge part of my daily routine that seems to really interest people. After I put up my shaving video I was getting Facebook messages, YouTube comments and even emails sent to me asking for a “How I Transfer” video. Because I feel like everyone has their own way of transferring, I thought showing my way could possibly give people some ideas or tips. My transfers have come a long way since I first started. What now takes me 10 seconds used to take a few minutes at least. The best exercise to practice for transferring are stomach exercises, because you need to be as stable as possible when transferring, and working your core will increase your stability. I did the three most basic transfers at home, so if there’s any others you’d like to see in addition to these, let me know in the comments!
Hope you enjoy the video 🙂
